A free flowing melody of colour, in videos, installation and models, with sound to match. Rist's choices of projection in her installation pieces are notable, sea shells with videos embedded inside and miniature bedrooms with revolving projections inside. A projection on a flower pot arranged with similar artefacts on a shelf resembles the work of Tony Oursler, a kind of psychedelic use of projection mapping. The use of nudity is questionable, 'she wants us to see our physical beings in a new, positive, light', however the minds of the general public cannot be changed in an instant, therefore I believe the shock value remains a large factor in the work.
